Jacqueline Liu

Jacqueline Liu, viola (Plano, TX), is a rising sophomore at Yale University. She began musical training on the piano with her mother at a very young age, and she started playing viola at the age of eight. Having performed on NPR’s “From the Top” and participated in programs including the Perlman Music Program, she has experience in chamber music as well as orchestral ensembles. She has served as principal violist in both the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra and the TMEA All State Symphony Orchestra, and is currently co-principal of the Yale Symphony Orchestra.
