Hannah Kim

Hannah Kim, violin (Seoul, South Korea), is currently attending New England Conservatory with a Presidential Distinction Award Scholarship. She received first prizes in the Manhattan International Music Competition, East Coast International Competition, SAC International Music Competition, and Young Artist Competition. She performed at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall and Lincoln Center’s Bruno Walter Auditorium after winning first prize at the New York Artists International Competition. She also performed at NEC’s Jordan Hall in the Chamber Music Gala Showcase Concert. She has performed concertos with the Prime Philharmonic Orchestra, Cametara Orchestra, and Mostli Philharmonic Orchestra. She has participated in masterclasses given by Shlomo Mintz, Zakhar Bron, Alexandre Brussilovsky, Mincho Minchev, Lucy Robert, Robert McDuffie, Frank Huang, and Aaron Berofsky. She has attended Music@Menlo and the Avila Music and Sejong International Music Festivals. Hannah previously studied with Kyung Sun Lee of Seoul National University, and currently studies with Soovin Kim.
