Annie Seeun Hyung

Annie Seeun Hyung, cello (Seoul, South Korea), is a passionate chamber musician, and has participated in chamber music festivals including Kronberg Academy’s Chamber Music Connects the World, IMS Prussia Cove, the Perlman Music Program, and the Taos School of Music. She has shared the stage with Steven Isserlis, Christian Tetzlaff, Donald Weilerstein, and Tabea Zimmerman, and is the cellist of Trio Eris, which is New England Conservatory’s Professional Trio in Residence starting in fall 2024. A graduate of Northwestern University, Annie previously studied with Hans Jorgen Jensen, Michel Strauss, and Sarah Koo Freeman, and is currently pursuing an MM at the New England Conservatory under the guidance of Laurence Lesser as a recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship.
