Yeh-Chun Lin

Yeh-Chun Lin, viola (Tainan, Taiwan), has performed chamber music around the United States and Taiwan. She was a member of the New England Conservatory Philharmonic and the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, and she also served as principal viola in the Counterpoint Chamber Orchestra in Taiwan. Yeh-Chun has attended the Perlman Music Chamber Workshop and the Encore Chamber Music Festival, and has worked with Molly Carr, Donald Weilerstein, Joel Krosnick, Merry Peckham, Vivian Hornik Weilerstein, and Itzhak Perlman. In 2018, she won 1st prize at the National High School Student Music Competition in Taiwan. She has performed in venues internationally, including Symphony Hall and Jordan Hall in Boston and the National Concert Hall in Taiwan. She is currently studying viola with Mai Motobuchi and chamber music with the Borromeo String Quartet and Paul Katz at the New England Conservatory, where she is a Dean’s scholarship recipient.
