Wei-An Hung

Wei-An Hung, cello (Changhua, Taiwan), is a doctoral candidate at Stony Brook University, where she studies under the tutelage of Colin Carr. She earned her Bachelor and Masters degrees at the Cleveland Institute of music, where she studied with Sharon Robinson. She went on to receive her Artist Diploma at McGill University under the mentorship of Matt Haomovitz. Wei-An has been featured as a soloist with the Cleveland Institute of Music Orchestra, the Temecula Valley Symphony Orchestra, and the Idyllwild Art Academy Orchestra. She has also participated in several prestigious music festivals, including the Kent Blossom Music Festival (2017, 2018), the New York String Seminar (2016, 2018), the Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festival (2019, 2022), the Aspen Music Festival (2020), and the Taos Chamber Music Festival (2023).
