Juliette Herlin

Juliette Herlin, cello (Paris, France), performs as a chamber musician, soloist, and recitalist in France, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, the USA, and Belarus. She made her solo debut at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées’ and has appeared in venues such as Salle Pleyel, Théâtre du Châtelet, Musée du Louvre, and the Minsk Philarmony Hall.  Juliette has played with Donald Weilerstein, Gérard Caussé, Hansjörg Schellenberger, and Jérome Ducros. She is a member of the Aletheia Piano Trio with which she performed at Alice Tully Hall, Rose Studio at Lincoln Center, and Kennedy Center. Juliette has been invited to festivals such as the Perlman Music Program Chamber Music Workshop, Encuentro de Santander, Les Vacances de Monsieur Haydn, Music Academy of the West, and the Festival Pablo Casals, and Jeunes Talents. She is a winner of the Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe’s French award and won first prizes at the International Vatelot/Rampal Music Competition and the UFAM Competition. Juliette obtained her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris where she studied with Jérôme Pernoo. She is now pursuing her studies at the Juilliard School under the guidance of Richard Aaron.
