Jennifer Liu, violin (Santa Monica, CA), recently finished her studies at the Juilliard School under the tutelage of Sylvia Rosenberg and Donald Weilerstein. Her earlier teachers include Itzhak Perlman and Catherine Cho. She was as a recipient of the Kovner Fellowship and Benzaquen Career Grant at Juilliard. This past year she participated in a tour in China with performances and masterclasses at Beijing, Shanghai, and Tianjin Conservatories, and collaborated with NOVUS, Metropolis Ensemble, and New York Classical Players. In the fall of 2018, Jennifer will join Ensemble Connect, a two-year fellowship program at Carnegie Hall. Previous Yellow Barn musician (2016, 2017)
