Rosie Gallagher

Rosie Gallagherflute (Sydney, Australia), has performed on international stages across Australia, Europe, and the United States and she enjoys cultivating a career that encompasses solo, chamber and orchestral projects. Rosie's recent performances have taken place at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Paul Hall at the Juilliard School, Royal Festival Hall in London, and various community venues around New York City. Rosie has performed with Yellow Barn Music Festival, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, American Symphony Orchestra, Juilliard School Orchestra and the Royal Academy of Music Symphony Orchestra. Most recently she was engaged as a core member of Ensemble Connect (formerly Ensemble ACJW, a joint program of Carnegie Hall, the Juilliard School, and the Weill Institute).

Rosie is thrilled to be a Rebanks Fellow at The Glenn Gould School from 2019-2020. She remains indebted to the many dedicated teachers and mentors who have guided her though musical life including Jocelyn Fazzone, Michael Cox, Robert Langevin and Carol Wincenc. Rosie received a B.M from the Juilliard School and an M.A from the Royal Academy of Music. Previous Yellow Barn musician (2017-2019)
