Mai Motobuchi, viola (Brighton, MA), has been a member of the Borromeo String Quartet since 2000 and with them, collaborated with artists such as Leon Fleisher, Gary Graffman, Bernanrd Greenhouse, Kim Kashkashian, Midori, and Dawn Upshaw, among others.  As a soloist, she has performed with Yo-Yo Mai and Seiji Ozawa.  Mai serves on the chamber music faculty at New England Conservatory and at the Tenrikyo Institute of Music in Tenri, Japan12. Past Yellow Barn Young Artists Program faculty (2012, 2013).
