Jueyoung Yang

Jueyoung Yang, violin (Anyang City, South Korea), attended the Seoul Arts High School, graduated from the Berlin University of Arts, where she studied with Ilan Gronich, and received a Master’s degree from the Hanns Eisler College of Music in Berlin. Currently she studies at the University of Music and Theatre in Leipzig under Erich Höbarth. Jueyoung has given concerts with the Kyeonggi Philharnomic Orchestra, Suwon Chamber Orchestra, and Suwon Philharmonic Orchestra. She was a winnner of Hindemith Competition and Ibolyka-Gyarfas Violin Competition, and has played in NDR Sinfonieorchester Hamburg and Deutsches Symphony Orchester. Since 2015, she has played in Staatskapelle Berlin. As a chamber musician, she has played at Apeldoorn with Nobuko Imai and Philippe Graffin, at Frenswegen chamber academy, and at Schiermonnikoog. Jueyoung plays regularly in a string quartet with Ilan Gronich.
