Trisha Doo

Trisha Doo, cello (Vancouver, Canada), is recognized for her charismatic, radiant performing style and her intense musicianship. She began her cello studies at the age of nine with Judy Fraser and is currently studying under Darrett Adkins at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. Trisha has won numerous solo and chamber competitions. Her most notable accomplishments include winning first prize at the American Protégé International Music Competition, where she performed as a soloist at New York’s Carnegie Hall. She also had the opportunity to perform with the Richmond Symphony Orchestra after winning first prize at the Richmond Symphony Concerto Competition. Over the years, Trisha has attended various music festivals including the Aspen Summer Music Festival, Banff Chamber Residency Program, Bowdoin International Music Festival, and Casalmaggiore International Music Festival.
