Sarah Tindall

Sarah Tindall, cello (Harleysville, PA), is pursuing a Music Performance degree at the New England Conservatory under the tutelage of Lluis Claret. She began cello in rural Nebraska where musical community was sparse, eventually leading to her move and study at the Juilliard Pre-College Division With Amy Sue Barston. She has attended numerous festivals including the Bowdoin International Music festival and Curtis Summerfest. In 2019, she was featured in NPR’s From The Top and has done numerous collaborations with the organization since. As a result of the pandemic, Sarah co-founded “Project Practice Notes,” an online community which offers motivation, practice tips, and interviews from the world’s best musicians and students. She also volunteers her time throughout the week, spreading her love for cello through teaching. Sarah’s cello is generously loaned by the Double-Stop foundation.
