July 5 – August 9, 2009
Putney, Vermont

Full fellowships covering all tuition and room and board costs will be granted to all invited participants for the first time in 2009.

THE PROGRAM
Outstanding students and young professionals – individuals and pre-formed ensembles – join a renowned faculty of dedicated artist-teachers for an in-depth exploration of the rich chamber music literature. Over the course of five weeks, they study and perform repertoire from the Baroque to the present day, in an intimate, inspiring, and highly supportive learning environment. Students and faculty perform together, in over 30 concerts in and around Putney, Vermont.  The informal yet intense atmosphere features frequent performances of varied repertoire and fosters both musical and personal growth. See the Summer Festival Schedule for details.
