SUMMER MUSIC SCHOOL  Yellow Barn offers two summer training and performance programs in chamber music for outstanding young musicians. Both offer highly individualized, personal instruction from artists of the highest caliber, and rewarding opportunities for public performance. Performances are presented primarily in southeastern Vermont and environs. YELLOW BARN PROGRAM The principal five-week training and performance program Yellow Barn Program is open to roughly 40 musicians in the early stages of professional careers. Most students in this program are currently enrolled in, or have recently graduated from, conservatory or graduate school. YELLOW BARN YOUNG ARTISTS PROGRAM The two-and-a-half week Young Artists Program is open to 28 exceptionally talented instrumentalists and composers, ages 13-19. |
