Yasmina Spiegelberg

Yasmina Spiegelberg, clarinet (Lausanne, Switzerland) is a laureate of the USC Concerto Competition, the Rotary International Competition Madrid Velazquez, the Frances Walton Seattle Competition, as well as the recipient of the prestigious Ingar Dobloug Scholarship. She is also a Gold Medalist in the 4th Manhattan International Music Competition. Yasmina performs throughout the U.S. and Europe, including the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. She was a guest soloist with the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra, the Nomad Symphony Orchestra (France), and the USC Symphony Orchestra, and performed with conductors David Lockington, Lior Shambadal, Stefan Asbury and Franck Ollu. Her chamber music collaborations include Hila Plitmann, Peter Frankl and members of the Brentano, Doric and Juilliard String Quartets. In Los Angeles, she performs frequently with the Dilijan, Music In The Mansion, and LACMA Sunday Live concert series. In addition to Yellow Barn, Yasmina has participated in the International Ensemble Modern Academy and Harmos Festival. Her solo performances have been broadcasted live on KUSC (California) and KING-FM (Washington), and she has recorded an album of concertos and other works for clarinet and orchestra in Switzerland. Yasmina holds a B.M. from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, a M.M. from the Norwegian Academy of Music, and an Artist Diploma from USC with Yehuda Gilad. Previous Yellow Barn musician (2018, 2019)
