Sejeong Pyo

Sejeong Pyo, percussion (Cheongju, South Korea), has performed as a soloist with the Eurasian Philharmonic Orchestra, Su-won Youth Orchestra, Chung-cheong Philharmonic Orchestra, Korea Percussion Orchestra, Chung-buk Provincial Performing Arts, and the Chung-buk Provincial Symphony Orchestra. She was the timpanist in the Cheong-ju Girls' Middle School Orchestra, and percussionist for the Song-do International Festival Concert. She performed as a soloist with her grandmother, a pianist, at Cheongpung myeongwol Educational Love Choir Concert, and has been a guest performer with Robert Van Sice. She performed in the Cheong-ju District Court Office Memorial Concert, Concert of Love with Master and Disciples, and the Chungcheongbuk-do Cheongmyung Student Education Center opening ceremony. In addition, she won the Korean-American Music competition, Korea Music Association Competition, Student Music Contest, Korea Youth Music Competition, Seoul National University association contest of the College of Music, Korea National Music Contest, and the Great Plains International Marimba Competition. Sejeong is currently studying for her BM at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University with Robert van Sice.
