Sasha Scolnik-Brower

Sasha Scolnik-Brower, cello, is currently in the dual degree program of Harvard University and New England Conservatory in the studio of Paul Katz. He was a winner of the Boston Symphony and Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra concerto competitions, as well as a finalist in the Stulberg International String Competition. Previous teachers include Natasha Brofsky and Andrew Mark. As a soloist, Sasha has performed with orchestras including the Boston Symphony, Boston Youth Symphony, Harvard Radcliffe Orchestra, Wellesley Symphony, Reading Symphony, and Nashua Chamber Orchestra. He has attended festivals including Kneisel Hall, Aspen Music Festival, Perlman Music Program and the Banff Centre. Sasha is also currently the Music Director and conductor of Harvard’s Bach Society Orchestra, having studied conducting with Federico Cortese and James Orent.
