Mingyu Son, percussion (Daegu, South Korea), was a member of the Daegu Youth Art Symphony Orchestra (DYASO). He has performed at the John F. Kennedy Center, Alice Tully Hall, and the Kimmel Center. He won the Seoul National University Competition, the Yonsei University Competition, and the Italy Fermo International Percussion Competition. Mingyu is currently working toward his B.M. in Percussion Performance under Robert van Sice at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University.
