Jonah Krolik

Jonah Krolik, cello (Durham, NC), is pursuing both a Bachelors of Music and of Science at the Eastman School of Music and University of Rochester. He currently studies cello with Professors Steven Doane and Rosemary Elliot and previously studied under Bonnie Thron. Jonah has been prize winner of the Hilton Head Concerto Competition, and Chapel Hill Philharmonia Concerto Competition, as well as a finalist in the Winston Salem Symphony Peter Perret Youth Talent Search and Durham Symphony Concerto Competition. Additionally, he has participated in masterclasses with Zuill Bailey, Johannes Moser, and Norman Fischer. Jonah participated in the junior division of the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition in South Bend, IN as a member of the Piedmont Trio. He has been coached by the Tokyo String Quartet, Chiara String Quartet, Ying String Quartet, and Joel Krosnick of the Juilliard String Quartet.
