Hao Hu, percussion (Guangzhou, China) began studying music at age five. Since 2015, she has won eight prizes in competitions across China. In 2016, Hao became a member of Guangzhou Symphony Youth Orchestra. With other members of the orchestra she performed in Australia, Singapore, and Indonesia. In 2018, she joined the Juilliard Summer Percussion Seminar. In 2019, she won third prize in the Redlands Bowl Concerto Competition in California. In the fall of 2020, she began pursuing her Bachelor of Music degree at the Juilliard School under the guidance of Daniel Druckman.
